Is the world divided between the inner realm and the outer realm? Are the spiritual traditions of the east the soul of the world and the scientific advances of the west the material of the world? Has the movement of self development started in the east been neglected in the beguiling light of western scientific materialism? Has the convenience of a fast food nation made us lazy and is this laziness at the heart of the social and environmental ills besetting our planet rooted in a profound lack of social empathy and understanding of physical context. Have the superficialities of the surface required divisive and process thinking that has sectioned off life into winners and losers, powerful and powerless. Have we the energy left to restore balance and equilibrium and reclaim the power to vote with our lives for empathy and natural harmony in our relations with others and the world around us? Is there really any such distinction as the inner and the outer?
