Non Duality In A Nutshell

  • Be aware of objects around the body.

  • Be aware that each of them has an invisible sense of reality that is not dependent on their form.

  • Be aware this invisible sense of their reality is the same experience for all objects around the body. Call this quality of reality “Isness” (or whatever you want).

  • Be aware that if all the objects around the body are real and share this Isness, so too must be what is aware of them.

  • Be aware of the Awareness that is aware of the objects.

  • Be aware it also has an invisible sense of Isness.

  • Be aware there is only one experience of Isness, which is aware of the Isness of the objects around the body and the Isness of Awareness itself.

  • Be aware everything is one Isness. There are not two Isnesses.

  • Be aware of the conclusive thought that the Adolescent Mind (the name given here to the mind to imply a mind is a form of relatively immature intelligence) cannot know that Awareness is an attribute of the Adolescent Mind.

  • Be aware of what happens to the thoughts of the Adolescent Mind when it opens to the possibility that Awareness is an attribute of this one impersonal Isness and not it.

  • Be aware of Awareness as if it were a quality of this one impersonalness, not the separate mind.

  • Be aware there is only an impersonal aware flow of Isness, no experience of a personal self at all.

  • Be aware that all that is happening at this moment is the spontaneous appearance of this aware flow of Isness; it is nothing personal at all.

  • Be aware thoughts of being a person appearing in the Adolescent Mind are part of this impersonal aware flow of Isness, even though what they say cannot be known to be true.

  • Be aware feelings associated with thoughts of being a person appearing in the Child Body (the name given here to the mind to imply a body is a form of relatively immature intelligence) are part of this impersonal aware flow of Isness, even though what they say cannot be known to be true.

  • Be aware only this aware flow of Isness knows itself; no person is involved.

  • Be aware of any notion by the Adolescent Mind of there being a "you" or a person and drop it as if it were a figment of its imagination.

  • Be aware of any feeling in the Child Body of there being a "you". See these feelings just as feelings, and there is no "you"

  • Be aware of how the Adolescent Mind and Child Body let go of all thoughts of personalness.

  • Be aware of how the Adolescent Mind and Child Body relax as everything is experienced is just this aware flow of Isness knowing itself, and no personal self is involved.

  • Be aware of how the Adolescent Mind and Child Body perceive everything as beautiful and feel love for everything as everything is experienced is just this aware flow of Isness knowing itself, and there is no personal self involved.

  • Be aware of practical impersonal thoughts about the Adolescent Mind and Child Body related to their care.

  • Be aware that enthusiastic impersonal thoughts about the Adolescent Mind and Child Body doing things emerge that are options to explore

  • Be aware that some impersonal thoughts prompt the Adolescent Mind and Child Body to move and take action.

  • Be aware that other minds and bodies are all an appearance of this impersonal aware flow of Isness, too, and so are the thoughts they speak, even if some of these thoughts indicate their mind believes they are people.

  • Be aware of impersonal thoughts in the Adolescent Mind to experiment with this day and see what emerges each moment, feeling there is only this impersonal aware flow of Isness just expressing.
