About

The understanding of Naturally Being is based on direct experience framed in alignment with established teachings of non duality and modern psychology.

At the age of 19, a journey into Buddhism started, which emphasised the oneness of all existence—both seen and unseen elements. These teachings rooted in non-dualistic understanding, conveyed the notion existence is a single conscious reality. For the next 25 years, this insight became central. Yet, the pursuit of true self-awareness remained incomplete, prompting a departure from the religious institution that once served as a spiritual anchor. A decade of introspection followed, accompanied by diverse meditation practices and becoming qualified in psychotherapy, illuminating the concept of the "observing self." Exploration into various non dualistic traditions including followed a much deeper examination of the observing self. During a meditative contemplation at this time, a particularly profound revelation occurred—a realisation that this observing Awareness is the essence of all existence. At this moment, a profound sense of peace ensued, marking the dissolution of any sense of a separate personal self psychologically and physically, which has remained accessible ever since. All that can be said in the light of this is, for certain, is that there is a reality that might be called simply “This” that has the capacity to be aware of itself, and views itself through a mind as a multitude of metaphorical happening appearances of this reality.

This lifetime experience and a natural enthusiasm towards psychology and society and education and writing is the basis for Naturally Being, which helps all individuals be aware of their true nature and achieve consistent happiness. I am not wedded to any particular school or tradition though align most closely to the Direct Path.

I am a member of the Human Givens Institute of Psychotherapy, the EU non-governmental organization Finance Watch, and the National Council for Integrative Psychotherapy.
